Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For Cookies
  2. all purpose flour 1 cup
  3. butter 1/2 Cup
  4. White powdered sugar 2 tablespoon
  5. Brown sugar 2 tablespoon
  6. baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  8. Beaten egg to bring it together 1/2
  9. For royal icing
  10. Icing sugar 3 cups
  11. Meringue powder (egg white powder)31/2 tablespoon
  12. Warm water 3 tablespoon


  1. For cookies
  2. Beat sugar and butter. To this add vanilla essence.
  3. Now add flour and baking soda to sugar butter mixture.
  4. Use beaten egg to bring the dough together if required
  5. Chill the dough in fridge for 20 mins
  6. Roll the dough . About 1/2 cm thicknesses. Cut with heart shape cookie cutter.
  7. Bake in a.preheated 180 degree for 15 mins
  8. Let it cook down
  9. For Royal icing.
  10. Beat all the ingredients with blender. Whenever it's too runny add more icing sugar and if it thick add water to it to bring in flowing consistency
  11. Colour it by adding gel colour as desired
  12. Fill in piping bag and pipe out designs of own choice on cookies.
  13. Let it dry .
