ABOUT Bajre aur daliye ka halwa RECIPE

Bajra and daliya halwa is very healthy and nutritious. Jaggery, cardamom and fennel enhance its flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bajra 2 tablespoon
  2. Daliya 2 tablespoon
  3. Desi ghee 2 tablespoon
  4. Jaggery or gud 2 tablespoon
  5. Pinch of cardamom powder
  6. Pinch of fennel powder
  7. Water 1 cup
  8. Chopped dry fruit of your choice 1-2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Grind the bajra and daliya into coarse powder.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a wok. Fry the dry fruits and take out in a bowl.
  3. In the same ghee add daliya and bajra powder and roast till light golden in colour or you get the aroma of roasting.
  4. Add water to it, after first boil, cover the lid and let it cook on low flame.
  5. After 3-4 minutes add jaggery and fried dry fruits to it and mix well.
  6. After 3-4 minutes off the flame . Transfer in to a bowl and garnish with dry fruits. Serve hot.
