ABOUT Curd Rice RECIPE

The simplest, tastiest dish from the hearland of South India, which can be prepared and served at any time, any day and any place

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled Rice 1 cup
  2. Cashews finely chopped 1 teaspoon
  3. Curry leaves few
  4. Green Chilly finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon
  5. 5-6 raisins
  6. Coriender leaves finely chopped 1 teaspoon
  7. Bengal Dal 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Urad Dal 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Musturd 1 teaspoon
  10. Oil 1 teaspoon
  11. Milk 1/ 8 cup
  12. Thick Curd 1/2 cup
  13. Salt

Instructions

  1. In a wide mixing bowl, take boiled rice, curd, milk and salt and mix them well
  2. Heat the oil in a pan
  3. Add musturd, urad dal, bengal dal, green chilly, curry leaves, cashews and raisins and fry them well
  4. Now add the tadka to the curd rice and mix it well
  5. Add chopped coriender leaves for decoration and serve with love
