ABOUT Spicy Bhajiya RECIPE

Deliciois spicy masala bhajiyas are everyones favourite. This one is perfect for your evening craving of tea time. Made with potato chips, besan, rice flour, corn flour, and regular spices from our kitchen.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Besan 1 cup
  2. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  3. Corn flour 2 tablespoon
  4. Water 2-3 tablespoon
  5. Potatoes 3 large
  6. Ice water 2 glass ( for potato slices)
  7. For masaala :-
  8. Red chili powder 1 tablespoon
  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  13. Ajwain 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Sesame seeds 1 teaspoon
  15. Lemon 2
  16. Garlic 4-5 crushed
  17. Oil for deepfrying
  18. Red chili powder and salt mixture( for sprinkle )

Instructions

  1. SLICE 3 POTATOES AND LEAVE THEM IN CHILLED WATER FOR 10 MINS
  2. MIX 1 CUP CHICKPEA FLOUR, 1/2 CUP RICE FLOUR & 2 TBSP CORNFLOUR
  3. ADD 1 TBSP RED CHILLI, 1 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1 TSP SESAME SEEDS & SALT TO TASTE
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF TURMERIC & CAROM SEEDS & 1TSP SUGAR
  5. ADD 4-5 CRUSHED GARLIC CLOVES
  6. ADD THE JUICE OF 2 LEMONS
  7. MIX IN THE POTATO SLICES
  8. ADD 2-3 TBSP WATER
  9. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  10. TAKE OFF HEAT WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  11. SPRINKLE CHAAT MASALA, TOP WITH FRESH CORIANDER & CHILLIES, SERVE HOT
