A beautiful flower flavoured tea that tastes delicious and smells heavenly.

Rose Tea

Ingredients to make Rose Tea

  • 3 roses petals
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 liter water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 500 ml milk

How to make Rose Tea

  1. Bring 300 ml water to a boil, then add the rose petals and lemon juice. Switch off the heat and let it sit for 8-10 hours so that the petals get completely soaked.
  2. After this time period, strain this rose water and pour into a jug. Discard the petals.
  3. Now bring the remaining water and milk together to a boil, then switch off the heat and put in the tea bags. Brew this for 5 minutes or so.
  4. After 5 minutes, remove the tea bags and discard them. Add the sugar in and stir it well. Then add the rose water and stir well to combine.
  5. Serve instantly for best taste.
