its a snack made by stuffing spiced and sautéed potatoes in cone made of maida or all purpose flour

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Maida/ all purpose flour 1/2 cup
  2. Potatoes 4
  3. Oil for deep frying 2 cups
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil for dough 2 teaspoon
  6. For sauteIng potatoes oil 2 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. whole coriander crushed coarsely 1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Dry mango powder 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Water to make dough


  1. Take all purpose flour add oil salt and mix well
  2. Then add water and make medium dough not to tight or too loose keep covered with a damp cloth
  3. Boil potatoes cool them and peel
  4. Heat a pan add two teaspoon oil add crushed coriander seeds
  5. Now mash the potatoes and add to it with red chilli powder garam masala and dry mango powder
  6. Sauté for two minutes and keep
  7. Now divide the dough in equal sized balls
  8. Size of dough balls should be of a tennis ball
  9. Roll out each in circular shape and cut from middle
  10. Take the cut part and apply water on sides and make a cone and fill with the prepared potatoes
  11. Close the cone
  12. Make all in similar way
  13. Heat oil in a deep pan
  14. Deep fry these cones on a medium flame
  15. Keep flipping
  16. Fry till it turns golden and crisp
