ABOUT Fenugreek and maize flour parantha RECIPE

It is healthy and , glutten free breakfast. Fenugreek on the other hand is a rich source of iron. So you can make it with ghee or oil it depends on your choice. Really loved by everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maize flour 1+ 1/2 cup
  2. Wheat flour 1/2 cup
  3. Fenugreek leaves 1 cup washed
  4. Ginger 1/2 inch piece
  5. Green chillies 2 or to taste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chili powder 1/4 teaspoon or to taste
  8. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Rock salt 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  11. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  12. Warm Water 3/4 cup for kneading
  13. Ghee or oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Put the fenugreek leaves, green chillies, ginger into a chopper and finely chop without water.
  2. Now add dry masalas.
  3. Now add both flour and ghee. Mix well.
  4. With the help of warm water make a fine dough.
  5. Now heat a tawa and make balls from the dough. Mash dough everytime proper while making ball with the generous help of water.
  6. Now with the help of rolling pin give it the shape of parantha. You can use dry wheat flour for help. Put it on tawa.
  7. After 2 minutes when one side is cooked. Turn the side and apply ghee. Cook both sides and apply ghee. Cook it on medium flame till it becomes crispy and golden .
  8. Serve it with white butter or curd. Your parantha are ready. With this mixture you can make 8 paranthas.
