Healthy soya made crispy,tangy,spicy..and with loads of flavour to make a munchurian that is a sure hit in any parties/social gathering!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soya chunks 100 grams
  2. Maida/All purpose flour 2 tablespoon heaped
  3. cornflour 3 tablespoon heaped
  4. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  5. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  6. oil for deep frying+ 2 tablespoon for sauting
  7. garlic pearls finely chopped 5
  8. A generous handful of finely chopped spring onion greens
  9. onions finely chopped 2 tablespoon
  10. Green capsicum finely chopped 2 tablespoon
  11. Soya Sauce 1 tablespoon
  12. Hot red chilli sauce 2 tablespoon full
  13. tomato ketchup 2 tablespoon full
  14. vinegar 1 tablespoon
  15. salt to taste
  16. water enough for soaking the soya nuggets


  1. Soak the soya nuggets in warm water for about 15 minutes. Then drain the water in them by squeezing them with hand and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add maida, cornflour, red chilli powder, ginger- garlic paste and salt to taste to the soya and mix well
  3. Deep fry the soya nuggets in a Kadai till they are crisp
  4. Take them off heat and keep aside
  5. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add the chopped garlic, onions and 2 tbsp of spring onions greens and capsicum and sauté well for sometime over Low heat
  6. Next add the hot chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and sauté for a minute
  7. Now add soya sauce, vinegar and salt and mix every ingredient well
  8. Lastly add the soya nuggets and blend well.
  9. Serve hot garnished with a handful of spring onion greens
