Sev Burfi

Ingredients to make Sev Burfi

  • Sev ( unsalted)250 grams
  • Mava 250 grams
  • Milk 1 cup
  • sugar 200 grams
  • Dry fruits finely chopped ( for garnishing)
  • kesar strands 10 to 12

How to make Sev Burfi

  1. Take a non stick pan
  2. Put mava into it
  3. Let the mava melt and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Add sugar and let the sugar dissolve completely in mava
  5. When the sugar is dissolved add milk and kesar in it
  6. Cook for 2 minutes
  7. Avoid lumps into it
  8. Add sev into the mixture
  9. Stir only for 2 minutes till the sev is nicely mix in mava mixture
  10. Switch off the gas and take the mixture in a square pot
  11. Garnish it with dry fruits and let it cool down completely
  12. Then cut into square shape pieces and serve this yummy sweet

My Tip:

Do all the process on medium flame
