ABOUT Fried potatoes RECIPE

Potatoes when fried in oil , gives an extra crunchy effect in taste. It's all time favourite for everyone.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Potatoes-5
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Chilli powder- to sprinkle
  4. Oil- to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 1 whistle
  2. Allow it to cool for 1 hour
  3. Peel the outer skin of potatoes and cut into bite size chunks
  4. In a pan, add oil and let it reach its smoking point.
  5. Now add potato chunks and fry till it reaches golden brown colour.
  6. Drain them in a paper towel and add salt and chilli powder and toss well and serve hot as appetizer
  7. If serving as a side dish, then do the seasoning and serve .
