Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour- 1cup
  2. Semolina- 2 tablespoons
  3. Oil-4 tablespoons
  4. Salt-to taste
  5. Boiled potatoes - 4-5 mashed
  6. Asafoetida-a pinch
  7. Cumin seeds- 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder- a pinch
  10. Mango powder- 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Green chilli - 2 chopped
  12. Frozen peas- 1 fistfull
  13. Garam masala- 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a mixing bowl. Add semolina ,all purpose flour, salt,2 teaspoon oil and mix well.now knead a tight dough with water.
  2. Make small size peda with dough and roll them with rolling pin.and prick all taco with fork.
  3. Heat oil in kadhai on medium flam. Place the taco in kadhai n press with skimmers. Now turn the taco and turn in half. Do not press it.between the fold there should be a space fr potato filling. Fry them till brown and crispy.now keep them aside.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai add asafoetida and cumin seeds and splutter them. Now add frozen peas and saute for a minute.
  5. Add mashed potato ,salt,Red chilly powder, Turmeric powder, Mango powder, garam masala and mix well.saute them for 5 minutes Switch off the flame and let it cool.
  6. Now fill potato filling in tacos shells and serve with your favourite chutney or sauce.
