These tricolour Bread pakoras are very easy and quick to make and are suitable for a quick snack just like this or whenever some sudden unexpected guests arrive.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread slices without their brown edges
  2. Green chutney 1/2 cup
  3. Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
  4. Besan 1/2 cup
  5. Salt 1/2 tsp
  6. Ajwain 1/4 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take four pieces of white bread. Cut the brown edges from all four sides. Between first two breads spread tomato ketchup.
  2. Between first two breads spread tomato ketchup.
  3. Now leave the space between the second and the third bread empty.
  4. Between the third and the fourth bread spread the green chutney.
  5. Make thin batter of besan with salt, ajwain, haldi, lal mirch powder, and water. Dip breads intact with all the layers in it and fry till crispy golden brown. Take out.
  6. Cut the bread into triangles with a clean knife so that the colours of the ketchup and chutney inside the bread comes out clean.
  7. Serve hot
