Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cup yellow moong dal.
  2. 1 bowl curd
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  5. 1/4tsp red chilly powder.
  6. 1tsp each red and green chutney.
  7. Oil for frying.
  8. 1/4tsp black salt.
  9. Green coriander leaves 2 tbsp


  1. Soak dal for 2hrs
  2. Strain it and grind it.
  3. Beat with hands till fluffy.
  4. Rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Now heat oil and make small balls from batter
  6. Soak the balls in water for 10 minutes.
  7. Beat the curd and add little salt.
  8. Now strain vadas and arrange in a platter
  9. Pour the curd on it
  10. Sprinkle roasted cumin seeds,chat masala, red pepper.
  11. Pour the chutney on it.
  12. Garnish with green coriander.
