Neeru dose literally means water dosa. This delicacy is from Ududi-Mangalore region. It is very soft and light. Goes well with Chicken curry or even with simple red chutney.

1, Soak rice for 2 hours
2. Grind rice with cooked rice into a fine batter. Add water to make pouring consistency. Add salt.
3. Heat a nonstick dosa pan and grease the pan with oil using a brush. I use 1/2 onion sticks to a fork. This gives a nice aroma to the dose.
4. Pour dosa batter onto the pan using a ladder at 2 inch height. Unlike other dosa, you cannot spread the dosa you just need to pour as such the batter should cover the entire pan.
4. Plenty of small holes appear on dosa. Close with a lid and cook for few minutes. Don't flip the dosa just fold it and put it in a plate to cool slightly. Then store in a hot box. Cooling is necessary otherwise dosa will stick together.
5. Serve with your favorite curry or chutney.
6. If you like sweet you can also serve with fresh coconut and jaggery mixture flavoured cardamom powder.
