ABOUT Jamoon Bonda RECIPE

Normally Jamoon is a very popular festival sweets in india, here is a my signature spicy version of bonda using jamoon mix powder and it very good tea time friend of evening tea.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ready made Jamoon mix powder 1/4 cup,
  2. Grated Paneer 1 cup
  3. Boiled corn kernels 1 cup
  4. Boiled Potato 1
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Finely chopped ginger 1 Tsp
  7. Finely chopped green chilli 1 Tsp
  8. Chopped coriander leaves 2 Tbsp
  9. Corn flour 2 Tbsp
  10. Gram flour 4 tbsp
  11. Red chilli powder ¼ Tsp
  12. Cumin powder ½ Tsp
  13. Oil for deep fry
  14. Fennel seeds 1 Tsp

Instructions

  1. Take a boiled corn in mixer jar and grind coarsely.
  2. In a mixing bowl take grated paneer, grinned corn, mashed potato, green chilli, salt, ginger, coriander, jamoon mix powder, gram flour , red chilli powder, fennel seeds and cumin powder mix well and make a gooseberry size balls.
  3. Heat oil for deep fry, transfer the balls to hot oil, and fry in low flame till golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.. ect .
