Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg big bengans
  2. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  3. salt as pr taste
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. oil as needed

Instructions

  1. Cut all bengans into thin slices
  2. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp red chilly powder to marinate it for 20 minutes
  3. In a bowl add flour, salt, red chilli powder and make semi thick batter by adding water
  4. Coat all slices and shallow fry both sides on preheated tawa.
  5. enjoy hot with chutney and dal fulka
