Khandvi

Ingredients to make Khandvi

  • For the khandvi batter:
  • 1/4 cup besan
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3/4 cup butter milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • For the khandvi filling:
  • 2 tbsp fresh grated coconut
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  • 2 tsp finely chopped green coriander
  • 1/4 tsp salt

How to make Khandvi

  1. Mix all the ingredients of the khandvi batter together and cook till the batter leaves the oil. (Quickly remove from the flame once it leaves the oil.)
  2. Now spread on a platform or plane surface with the help of a smooth bowl base or pelt knife.
  3. Spread the batter in a thin layer.
  4. Now mix all the ingredients of the filling and spread on a layer.
  5. Cut strips of the khandvi and fold it like a rolled carpet.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

My Tip:

1. We can also apply green minty dip before the spread filling. 2. Mix all ingredients together with the help of a whisker.
