Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup chopped yellow pumkin
  2. 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  3. 4-5 pepper corn crushed
  4. 1/2 tbsp cooking oil/butter/coconut oil
  5. 1/2 cup coconut milk (approx.100ml)
  6. 1 cup pumpkin stock
  7. salt to taste


  1. Boil the chopped pumpkin with salt till its well cooked. Strain out the stock and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and saute on a very low flame for half a minute. Add the pumpkin, fry for a minute keep aside, cool and puree, adding the stock if necessary.
  3. Mix well and boil the soup in a pan. Add salt and pepper and bring to boil.
  4. Take the pan off the fire and add the coconut milk.
  5. Serve hot with garlic bread.
