Quinoa Soup

Ingredients to make Quinoa Soup

  • Quinoa uncooked 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Mixed vegetables 1/4 cup
  • water 2 cups
  • salt to taste
  • Green onion 1
  • garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Oats(roasted and powdered ) 1/2 tbsp(optional)
  • olive oil 1 tsp

How to make Quinoa Soup

  1. Heat a sauce pan add 1 tsp of oil then white part of green onion and the garlic powder, saute for 1-2 min.
  2. Add vegetables(carrot/beans/corn) and saute. Add quinoa mix properly, add water and salt, let it come to a boil.
  3. Turn heat on low, let quinoa cook properly. Add oats powder(optional) to thicken.
  4. Sprinkle black pepper and garnish with green Onions. Serve hot in a bowl or cup.
