Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana dal- 1 cup
  2. Ghee- 3/4 cup
  3. Sugar- 1/2 cup
  4. Milk - 2 cup
  5. Crushed cashew nut- 2 tbsp
  6. Chopped almond- 1 tbsp
  7. Raisins- 2 tbsp
  8. Green cardamom powder- 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana dal for 4 hours.
  2. Grind coarsely to make a paste
  3. Heat ghee in a pan.
  4. Add chana dal paste and stir continuously
  5. . Stir it continuously and roast till it turns brown and gives out the fragnance
  6. Cook in a medium flame
  7. . Add sugar and milk in the pan. Stir the halwa till sugar and milk dissolves.
  8. Chana dal halwa is ready to serve.
  9. Take it out in a serving dish and garnish it with cashew nut, almond, raisins
