ABOUT Dry Kachori RECIPE

It is a yummy snack enjoyed by kids and elders equally.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the dough
  2. 2 cups Maida
  3. 2 tbsp oil
  4. Salt to taste
  5. A pinch of baking soda
  6. For the stuffing
  7. 2 tbsp sesame seeds fried
  8. 2 tbsp fried sing (grinded to form a powder)
  9. 2 tbsp grated dry coconut
  10. 1/4th tsp cinnamon powder
  11. 2 tsp sugar
  12. 1/4th tsp citric acid
  13. 2 tsp red chili powder
  14. 1 tsp garam masala
  15. 1/4th tsp haldi
  16. 1 tbsp roasted saunf (grinded to form a powder)
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. For the dough
  2. Combine all the ingredients and knead it to make a stiff dough.
  3. For the stuffing
  4. Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
  5. How To prepare
  6. Take a small pinch of dough and roll it to make a small puri.
  7. Place a portion of mixture and it from all the sides to make a round kachori.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame.Fry till it turns golden brown in colour on paper.Store it in an airtight container.
