Take maida, khoya, and paneer in a thali.
Knead paneer, khoya, and sugar.
Mix flour with baking powder, add paneer, khoya, and make smooth dough.
Make lime sized balls from the dough shape these balls into diamonds about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat a vessel add sugar and water, cardamom powder, prepared thick syrup and keep aside.
Fry chitrakoot in oil or ghee till dark brown.
Now dip this fried chitrakoot in sugar syrup for 1/2 an hour.
Then rolled chitrakoot in castor sugar.
Your juicy, sweet, soft chitrakoot is ready
Seve chilled.
