ABOUT Teekhi Khatti Meethi Amrood Pudine ki Chutney | Roasted Guava & Mint Chutney RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Guavas (medium sized ripe guavas, but not overriped ones) - 2
  2. Green chilies - 2
  3. Ginger - 1 inch
  4. Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
  5. Chopped coriander - 1/2 cup
  6. Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup
  7. Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  8. Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
  9. Black salt - 1 to 2 tsp
  10. Roasted cumin powder - 2 tsp
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Roast the guavas on flame till their outer skin gets charred. Just like we do with baingan for baingan bharta.
  2. Scrape the skin a little and chop guavas into small pieces.
  3. Blend all the ingredients including the guava pieces in a mixi jar and your chutney is ready. Store it in an air-tight container in refrigerator and it would last for about a week.
