ABOUT Popeye Pasta RECIPE

Veggies are harmful creatures according to kids.So thought of adding it in their favourite foods.As i have added spinach here i have named it "popeye" since it attracts kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pasta 1 bag ( 400 g )
  2. Garlic 6 cloves
  3. Oil 3 tbsp
  4. Oregano 2 tsp
  5. Pepper 1 tsp
  6. Veg / chicken stock 300 ml
  7. Spinach 2 bunch
  8. Butter 50 g
  9. Milk 2 cups
  10. Cheese 1/4 cup
  11. Oatmeal 1/4 cup
  12. Chilli flakes 3 tsp
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to the instructions.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Blanch the spinach in hot water and wash it.
  4. Blend it .
  5. In a pan add butter.
  6. Toss garlic and flour followed by milk.
  7. Stir and mix without forming lumps.
  8. Add the pureed spinach and the remaining ingredients.
  9. Let it boil.
  10. Stir in between.
  11. Add in the stock,oregano and salt.
  12. Boil until it thickens.
  13. Add the cooked pasta.
  14. Mix and serve.
