ABOUT Instant Green Chilli Pickle RECIPE

Green chili pickle is a spicy and tangy condiment prepared from green chillies or hari mirch with oil, AMCHUR power and salt. Basically it is served as relish for additional flaour and taste as a side dish for lunch and dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Small green chillies 100 gms
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Mustard oil 1/2 cup
  4. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  5. 1/4 tsp Methi / fenugreek seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp ajwain / carom seeds
  7. 2 tsp mustard seeds / rai
  8. pinch of hing / asafoetida
  9. 1 tsp saunf / saunf
  10. Corriender powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Amchur powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1. WASH, DRY, REMOVE THE HEAD OF 100 GMS CHILLIES.
  2. 2. SLIT FROM THE CENTRE.
  3. 3. ROAST 1 TSP FENNEL, 2 TSP MUSTARD, 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN, FENUGREEK & Carom.
  4. 4. COOL & DRY GRIND.
  5. 5. HEAT 1/2 CUP MUSTARD OIL, ADD 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA & THE CHILLIES, FRY FOR 2 Mins.
  6. 6. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC, 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI, AMCHUR & Coriander powder.
  7. 7. ADD POWDERED SPICE MIX.
  8. 8. ADD 1 TSP SALT & MIX.
  9. 9. COOL & STORE IN AN AIR- TIGHT Bottle.
