Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. ingredients for balls(kofta):500 gm Chicken Grounded/Minced
  2. 1 Onions finely chopped
  3. egg yolk 1
  4. 1 tbsp Besan
  5. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  6. 1-2 Green chilli finely chopped
  7. 1tbsp Cilantro Chopped
  8. 1 tsp Garam Masala and Black pepper to taste
  9. Oil for frying and Salt to taste
  10. For gravy: 2 Medium Onion finely chopped
  11. 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
  12. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  13. 1 tsp salt to taste
  14. Oil for cooking and Water as desired for consistency
  15. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  16. Red Chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
  17. Coriander Powder 2-3 tbsp
  18. Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  19. Dry spices: Bay leaves 1-2 Big Cardamom 1 Dry Red chilli 1-2 Green Cardamom 4-5 Cloves 2-3 Cinnamon 1 stick
  20. Garam masala powder 1 tsp(optional)
  21. Cashewnut & melon seeds Paste
  22. 1 tbsp Chopped Cilantro for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for kofta & make ball from the mixture and fry in a kadai.Drain on paper towel.keep aside. Heat a pan add oil then add dry spices once u get aroma add onion & cook till it becomes translucent.Add ginger garlic & chilli paste saute till raw aroma goes
  2. Add powder spices &salt cook till start leaving oil.then add cashew & melon paste cook for 2-3 min. Add water once gravy start boiling then add Koftas & simmer for 10-15 min. Add water once gravy start boiling.Add powder spices &salt cook till
  3. Finally, add garam masala powder & garnish with chopped Cilantro. Serve with steamed rice or Chappati. .
