Broccoli Spinach Fritters

Ingredients to make Broccoli Spinach Fritters

  • 1 medium onion,chopped
  • ½ cup gram flour
  • ½ cup Ragi Flour(Finger millet Flour)
  • 1 tbsp Kasoor Methi (Dried fenugreek Leaves-Herb)
  • 3 cups processed Broccoli
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp red paprika powder
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp asafoetida powder
  • 1 tbsp organic coconut oil /Canola oil
  • For Yoghurt-cucumber Dip:
  • 1 ½ cup Greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped pickled cucumber(Slit cucumber in half and dip it in apple cider vinegar overnight)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped dill(or mint as per choice)
  • ¼ tsp salt

How to make Broccoli Spinach Fritters

  1. Take grated broccoli in a large bowl.
  2. Add gram flour, Ragi flour, onion, fenugreek leaves, spinach, salt, chaat masala, paprika powder, ginger-garlic paste, asafoetida powder to the broccoli and mix well. Knead dough
  3. Make 8-10 patties with the prepared dough.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet. Cook the patties/fritters until golden brown on both sides on medium heat.
  5. To make the Yoghurt Cucumber dip, mix chopped cucumber, dill(or mint) and ¼ tsp salt with greek yoghurt and whip nicely.
  6. Serve the Broccoli Spinach Fritters hot with Yogurt Cucumber dip or sauce.
