These bites are gooey and yummy. You can have these snacks for parties, with cup of Tea/Coffee or for tiffin too

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1cup finely chopped spinach
  2. 2 medium boiled potatoes
  3. 1 small onion chopped
  4. 1/3-1/2 cup shredded cheese (adjust)
  5. 1 egg lightly beaten
  6. 1 cup bread crumbs
  7. 2 garlic cloves minced
  8. 2 tbsp Milk
  9. salt to taste
  10. 1/2 tsp lemon Juice
  11. 1/4 tsp pepper
  12. 1 tsp red chili flakes (Adjust)


  1. Saute onion and garlic with 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil until onion becomes translucent and raw aroma goes away.
  2. Add spinach and saute until spinach becomes tender and wilted. Switch off and allow it slightly cool
  3. In a bowl mash potatoes and milk with a masher. To this add spinach mixture and mix well. Now make a well add bread crumbs salt ,pepper, red chili flakes, cheese, lemon juice. Knead soft dough . Refrigerate dough for 20-30 mins.
  4. Heat oil in a wok, make balls and fry them on medium heat for not more than a minute as it contains cheese
  5. Fry them in batches, allow excess oil to be absorbed by absorbent towel. Serve hot with Sauce or ketchup
