Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup Toor/Arhar dal
  2. 1 tsp jeera
  3. 1 tsp salt or as required
  4. 2-3 dry red chillies
  5. 1 tbsp oil/ghee
  6. 1/4 tsp hing
  7. 1 tsp turmeric
  8. 1 sprig curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook Dal with turmeric until done
  2. Mash Dal and add salt. Mix well
  3. Heat ghee in a pan, splutter jeera , add red chilies and hing. Add curry leaves and switch off
  4. Add seasoning to Dal, mix well and Serve hot with rice
