ABOUT Palak matar pav bhaji RECIPE

Who doesn't love pav bhaji, but made it with a twist. Experimenting with pav bhaji was a great challenge but i think i was not wrong....as this version of pav bhaji tickles on tongue as regular pav bhaji..i gave it a healthy twist by adding spinach and green peas along with onions and tomatoes and really went well. Definitely try once and you will fall in love with this

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 tomato
  2. 1 medium sized onion
  3. 2 green chilies
  4. 1 cup peas
  5. 1/4 cup spinach leaves
  6. 1 tbsp Oil
  7. 1/2 tbsp jeera
  8. 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tbsp red chili powder ( adjust as per taste)


  1. Chop the veggies and keep it aside
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and splutter jeera
  3. Add chopped green chilies and onions. Saute until onions are translucent
  4. Add peas and cook for few minutes
  5. Add salt , turmeric powder and red chili powder. Mix well
  6. Add tomatoes and cook until soft
  7. Add chopped spinach and cook until done
  8. Continue cooking till oil separates
  9. Serve hot with crisp buttery pav's
