Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken - 500 gms
  2. Achari mirch/jalapeno - 250 gms
  3. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Fenugreek (methi) seeds - 1/8 tsp
  5. Onion seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  9. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  10. Hung curd - 1/2 cup
  11. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  12. 3 - Onion, cubed
  13. Oil - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the black mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,fennel seeds and onion seeds. Grind to powder.
  2. Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp roasted powder,turmeric powder,hung curd,salt and keep aside for one hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and stir fry till it gets transparent.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste,red chilly powder,coriander powder and jalapeno and mix well.
  5. Now add the marinated chicken and 1 tbsp roasted powder.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of water and cook on high flame till chicken is done or for 8 to 10 mins.
  7. Serve hot with roti or rice.
