ABOUT Bhindi Masala RECIPE

Its very easy subzi tastes best with Roti. My family's favourite are bhindi masala and fry. Anything made with bhindi will last for 5 mins. It is the most fav subzi. Especially simple bhindi fry with rasam sadam are made in heaven combination. Will post that soon.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ladies finger 250 gms
  2. onion 2 medium sized sliced
  3. 1 tomato chopped
  4. 1 Green chili chopped
  5. 1 sprig curry leaves
  6. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric Powder
  8. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  9. salt as required
  10. Garam masala 1 tsp
  11. oil 1 tbsp


  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Saute Sliced onion until translucent
  2. Add tomatoes, green chilies and curry leaves.
  3. Add salt and spice powders. Mix well. Saute until tomatoes are tender
  4. Add chopped ladies finger and gently mix
  5. Add Coriander leaves. Mix well. Cook on low flame for 10 mins. Stir occasionally.
  6. Serve hot with roti or rice
