ABOUT Methi Puri RECIPE

Methi puri made up with wheat flour boiled and grind methi leaves (fengrueek leaves )

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup semolina
  3. 1 cup fenugreek leaves puree
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  6. 2 tbsp clarified butter
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add wheat flour , semolina, puree, salt, clarified butter, turmeric powder and mix well
  2. Add water and knead a smooth dough. Keep it aside for 5 minutes
  3. Divide dough in small equal size balls. Roll into puris
  4. Deep fry the puris until golden brown. Serve immediately with sabzi or curry
