Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 kg - spinach (palak) cooked and coarsely pureed
  2. 1/2 kg - bathua - cooked and coarsely pureed
  3. 1 inch ginger chopped
  4. 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  5. 1/4 tsp sugar
  6. Pinch of Hing
  7. 1 medium onion minced
  8. 1 tbsp ghee/butter
  9. 1 tbsp Refined oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 -2 green chilies finely chopped
  12. 1/2 tsp - Red chili powder
  13. 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  14. 1/2 tsp - haldi
  15. 1 tsp - garam masala
  16. 1 tomato pureed
  17. 300 gms paneer cubed and fried

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadhai. Add minced onions, ginger ,sugar and saute until onions are translucent
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies and saute until raw aroma goes away
  3. Now add pureed tomatoes with spice powders. Mix well and saute until tomatoes are tender
  4. Add the palak and bathua puree. Mix well
  5. Add paneer and gently mix
  6. Cover and Cook on medium-low heat for 6-7 minutes
  7. Add salt and mix well. Check for seasonings
  8. Add a dollop of homemade butter and serve hot with roti or naan
