ABOUT English Trifle RECIPE

This classic English Trifle is a creamy and rich dessert that is simply delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 160 gms, sponge or pound cake, cut into thick slices
  2. 135 gms block of jelly
  3. 125 ml strawberry preserves
  4. 500 ml whipped cream
  5. Grated chocolate to garnish

Instructions

  1. Line 6 glasses or bowls and put in the thick cake slices on the bottom.
  2. Next put in a few spoonfuls of the strawberry preserves and spread it evenly. Dab it slightly with the back of the spoon to make sure it is not messy.
  3. Then pour over the jelly on top and put them in the refrigerator and let the jelly set.
  4. Once it is set, add a thick layer of whipped cream with the help of a piping bag.
  5. Decorate with the grated chocolates on top and serve to enjoy!
