Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup Wheat flour
  2. 2 tbsp curd
  3. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 1/2 tsp sugar
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 3-4 tbsp butter for topping
  8. 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  9. 4 tbsp Chopped cilantro leaves
  10. 3 tbsp Onion seeds/ black til

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl, mix whole wheat flour, salt, sugar,baking powder
  2. Add whisked curd and water as required to knead a soft dough. Cover the dough with cling wrap or damp cloth and rest for 2 hours
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll each portion into small puris. Sprinkle some minced garlic and cilantro leaves. Press a bit and then roll again into oval or any desired shape
  4. Flip the rolled naan and brush with water and place it on hot tawa , press the naan on tawa so that it sticks to it
  5. Cook for 30-40 secs till bubble appears and then flip it and place on direct flame. Use a tong and flip the naan and cook till the char appears.
  6. Brush naan with butter. Serve hot
