ABOUT Mackerel Fish Fry RECIPE

It is one of the most popular fish in non veg as it is very easily available in local fish market. you can easily make this fish fry recipe by using normal dry spices and rava, rice flour for the crispiness.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 Mackerel Fish
  2. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 tbsp Rava
  4. 1 tsp Rice flour
  5. to taste Salt
  6. Chat masala 1/2 tsp (optional)
  7. 1 tsp Red chili powder
  8. 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  9. 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  10. 1 tsp Garam masala
  11. 1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add salt and lemon juice to the fish and keep it aside for 10 minutes .Again wash and pat dry on a kitchen towel. Make slits on the fish for coating the masala well.
  2. Take a wide plate ,add all dry masalas, rava, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and mix it well.
  3. Rub masala to each side of fish and marinate for 30 minutes
  4. Heat a grill pan or tava. Drizzle some oil and shallow fry the fish.
  5. Cook from one side and flip and cook until done
  6. Serve hot with lemon and onion rings , optionally garnish with coriander leaves and chaat masala.
