Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup paneer cubed
  2. 1 medium onion (sliced or chopped)
  3. 1 chopped tomato
  4. 1 cup spinach(palak)
  5. 1/2 cup coriander
  6. salt as per taste
  7. 1/4 cup oil
  8. 8-10 cashew nuts (optional)
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. 1 Clove
  11. 1 inch cardamom stick
  12. 1 bay leaf
  13. 1 tbsp dahi
  14. 1/4 cup fresh cream
  15. 1 TBSP KASURI METHI
  16. 1 tsp red chili powder
  17. 1 green chili slit
  18. 1 inch ginger
  19. 8-10 Garlic cloves
  20. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  21. 1/2 tbsp jeera powder
  22. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion,ginger,garlic and green chili.
  2. Saute until onion are translucent. Add cashew nuts and mix it well.
  3. Add coriander and spinach leaves and let it cook. Add tomato and mix it well. Cook until tomatoes are mushy
  4. Allow the mixture to cool completely
  5. Blend all the ingredients well to form smooth paste.
  6. heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan
  7. Add bay leaf, cardamom stick and clove. Saute for few seconds
  8. Add ground paste and mix well
  9. Add salt,coriander powder and jeera powder and mix. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes
  10. Add red chili powder,dahi and fresh cream and mix it. Add water and garam masala and mix well.
  11. Add paneer and kasuri methi. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
