ABOUT Leftover Green Dal Puri RECIPE

Green moong daal,onion & lots of coriander leaves....a perfect combination for a tasty poori.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Multigrain wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Cooked lentils 1 cup
  3. Chopped Onion 1
  4. cumin powder 1 tsp
  5. Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. oil for frying
  8. Carom seeds 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix green moong daal, coriander leaves and chopped onion in a bowl
  2. Add mixture to wheat, carom seeds,cumin powder, asafoetida, salt, 1 tsp oil warm water in a bowl
  3. Knead firm dough and rest for 20 minutes
  4. Divide into equal portions and roll into puris
  5. Deep fry until golden brown, drain excess oil
  6. Serve hot with aaloo sabji
