Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 300 grams spinach leaves, cleaned and finely chopped
  2. 200 grams cottage cheese/ paneer crumbled
  3. 2 small onions chopped
  4. 2 medium tomatoes chopped
  5. salt as per taste
  6. turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. garam masala 1/4 teaspoon
  8. oil 2 tablespoons
  9. cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds
  2. Add onions and saute until light golden brown in color
  3. Add tomatoes and spices, cook until oil starts leaving the sides of pan
  4. Add chopped spinach, mix well and cook for five minutes without adding water
  5. Add crumbled cottage cheese/paneer and cook for 2 more minutes
  6. Serve hot with chapati or rice
