ABOUT Ginger lemon freeze - a virgin cocktail RECIPE

A virgin drink that can be spiked with a dash of lemon vodka freeze when the temperature soars up.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup sugar
  2. Freshly squeezed juice of 6 medium sized lemons
  3. 3 tsp of fresh ginger juice
  4. 2 cups water
  5. Few mint leaves, chopped finely
  6. Lemon slices to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water and sugar together on a medium flame. Keep stirring till the sugar dissolves.
  2. Then add the ginger juice and the second cup of water. Stir it well .
  3. Pour this mixture into the ice trays and freeze it for 5-6 hours or until they crystalize. Note that the cubes will not be hard like ice but soft to touch.
  4. After this time, remove them from the trays and crush using a pestle and a clean bowl.
  5. Pour this into individual glasses and garnish with the lemon slices and mint leaves.
