Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2 bunch Spinach, chopped
  2. 2 turnip, cubed
  3. 2 onion, chopped
  4. 1 tomato, chopped
  5. 5 cloves garlic,chopped
  6. 2 green chilies, chopped
  7. Salt to taste.
  8. 1 piece jagerry
  9. 4 tsp desi ghee.
  10. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  11. 1/4 tsp dhania seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a cooker, splutter cumin seeds
  2. Add dhania seeds and roast for a minute
  3. Add onions, garlic and green chilies and saute until onions are translucent
  4. Add tomato and cook until mushy
  5. Add salt, spinach and turnip. Mix well. cook for a minute
  6. Add 1 cup water, jaggery. Mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles
  7. Once steam is released, mash the veggies with laddle
  8. Add 1 tbsp ghee and mix well
  9. Serve with makki roti.
