ABOUT Penne Arrabbiata RECIPE

A fiery Italian sauce for pasta made from tomatoes an red chillies.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 400g Penne Pasta
  2. 500g tomatoes chopped
  3. 2 cloves Garlic chopped
  4. 2-4 Dried red chilli chopped
  5. 2 tbs parsley leaves chopped
  6. 1/2 cup cheese chopped
  7. 6 tbs olive OIl
  8. salt to taste
  9. Basil leaves for garnish(optional)


  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cook till tender and drain.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the garlic and chilli, saute till garlic becomes golden in color.
  3. Add tomatoes and stir fry for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add salt and cook on medium heat for about 20-25 mins.
  5. Now add the pasta and cheese and toss well to coat.
  6. Sprinkle chopped parsely and serve hot.
