Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Plain flour 2 cups
  2. Yogurt 1/4 cup
  3. Salt as required
  4. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  5. water as required
  6. Spinach puree 1/2 cup
  7. ginger 1 inch grated
  8. green chilies 3 , finely chopped
  9. Baking soda pinch
  10. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Make a coarse paste with green chili and ginger
  2. In a mixing bowl , add plain flour , spinach puree, chili ginger paste, cumin seeds, salt, soda, yogurt and water
  3. Mix well and add water as required. Mix to form smooth batter
  4. Keep it aside for 1 hour
  5. Heat oil in deep kadai. Drop spoonful of batter in hot oil over medium heat
  6. Fry until golden brown. Drain excess oil. Serve hot
