Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup gram flour
  3. 1 cup chopped fresh methi leaves
  4. 1/2 cup left over moong Dal
  5. 1/2 cup chopped onions
  6. 1 teaspoon chopped green chili
  7. 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  8. 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger
  9. Salt according to taste
  10. 1/2 teaspoon ajwain
  11. 1/2 teaspoon garam Masala
  12. 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  13. Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add all ingredients and knead smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Divide into equal portions
  3. Roll into Parathas and place on hot nonstick tawa/ pan. Cook on both sides until golden brown, drizzle butter over edges
  4. Add dollop of butter over paratha and serve with curd/pickle

Can I use butter in the place of vegetable oil?
