You might have come across many kadhis, I am introducing you to one such kadhi palak ki kadhi, it is healthier without any fried pakoras and ofcourse no onion and no garlic kadhi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup gram flour ( besan)
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 3 cups water
  4. 1 bunch spinach, finely chopped
  5. 2 teaspoons fenugreek seeds
  6. 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  7. 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  8. 2 tablespoon mustard oil
  9. 2 to 3 dried red chilies
  10. 1 teaspoon red chilly powder
  11. 2 teaspoon turmeric
  12. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk curd and gram flour in a bowl
  2. Whisk curd with besan mix until its lump free
  3. Cook curd and besan mix over low medium heat stirring constantly
  4. Heat oil in a separate pan, add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and cumin and let it splutter. Add red chilies and stir for few seconds
  5. Add turmeric and red chilly powder. Mix well
  6. Add spinach and mix
  7. Cover and cook for 5 minutes
  8. Add above mixture, salt to the curd and mix well. Bring to boil. Switch off. Serve warm
