A classic Japanese style fried chicken dish! Juicy and crispy chicken cooked in Japanese seasoning

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 450g Boneless Chicken
  2. 1 tbs Ginger
  3. 1 Garlic clove
  4. 2 tbs Soy sauce
  5. 1 tbs Sake
  6. 1 tbs Sugar
  7. 1/3 cup Corn starch
  8. Vegetable oil for frying


  1. Mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sake and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken and coat well with the mixture. Cover and marinate for an hour.
  3. Put the corn starch in a bowl. Add chicken to it and coat the pieces well.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot. Fry the chicken until brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer chicken to paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Let it cool for a couple minutes and serve.
