A simple and healthy soup that is delicious as well.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. pumpkin - 2 cups, cut into blocks
  2. onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
  3. garlic - 5 to 6 pods
  4. butter -1 tablespoon
  5. Milk -1 cup
  6. Black pepper Powder - 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
  7. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan and add the pumpkin cubes, onion and garlic. Roast them well.
  2. Now pour in water and put them in a pressure cooker. Allow this to cook for two to three whistles.
  3. Once cooked, let the pressure release, then strain the stock and keep it aside. Now make a puree of the boiled pumpkin, onion and garlic.
  4. Take the puree in a pan and add in the stock, milk and bring it to boil. Add salt and pepper powder.
  5. Serve this soup hot for best taste.
