Methi crispies sticks makes a perfect crispy, crunchy and flavourful tea time snacks. It has a good for kids and elders health.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup semolina
  3. 2 cup fenugreek leaves
  4. 2 green chili
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  7. 1 tsp ajwain
  8. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  9. 3 tbsp oil
  10. 1/8 tsp baking powder


  1. Wash Fenugreek leaves. Add leaves to boiling water with little salt and baking powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes
  2. Drain excess water and grind leaves with green chilies to smooth puree
  3. In a bowl , add wheat flour, semolina, green puree,salt, ajwain, red chili powder, sesame seeds, oil and mix well.
  4. Knead smooth dough and keep it aside.
  5. Grease the chakli mold with crispy stick attachment. Add dough in mold
  6. Press and make the sticks on a greased sheet.
  7. Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry them over medium heat until crisp and golden brown.
  8. Drain excess oil on an absorbent paper.
  9. Allow them to cool and store in an airtight container
  10. Enjoy them with tea or coffee.
