Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup fresh green peas
  2. Finely chopped methi leaves 100-150 gms
  3. 2 green cardamom
  4. 1 inch cinnamon
  5. 3-4 garlic cloves
  6. 1 inch ginger chopped
  7. 2-3 green chili
  8. 7-8 almonds /cashew
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. 3/4 cup milk
  11. 1 cup water
  12. 2-3 tbsp cream
  13. 1 Onion, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil peas with water for 2 minutes and keep it aside
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add 2 green cardamom and 1 inch cinnamon. Saute for few seconds
  3. Add onion and saute until translucent
  4. Add ginger, garlic and saute until raw aroma disappears
  5. Add blanched almonds and mix well
  6. Add green chilies and saute for 1 minute
  7. Allow mixture to cool completely
  8. Ground mixture into smooth paste
  9. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add ground paste. Mix well
  10. Saute till oil separates
  11. Add 1 cup chopped methi leaves and mix
  12. Saute for 2-3 minutes
  13. Add boiled peas
  14. Add salt and mix well
  15. Cook for 2 -3 minutes
  16. Add 3/4 cup milk and 1 cup water
  17. Simmer and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame till gravy thickens
  18. Add 2 tbsp cream
  19. Mix well and cook for 5-6 minutes
  20. Garnish with fresh cream and serve
